Walking through the darkened alley

The cold hard concrete is death beneath my feet

 A place where dreams fade and nothing grows

Life is smothered before it has the chance to begin

Chasing life in the deepest woods

The earth is fresh and warms my soul

Every turn brings new untold wonders

Alive at last in Nature’s wild embrace.
