Remaining silent about the destruction of nature is an endorsement of that destruction.

I had the pleasure last night of getting to play host to a poor little lost Mexican Free Tail Bat.  He flew in an open window, and couldn't seem to find his way back out again.  After about an hour I finally caught the little bugger and put him outside, where he would have a beter chance for survival.  It would have been pretty cool to have a pet bat, but they really make better outside pets.
